Definition
A covering in the form of either a short, flat, gathered or pleated fabric; or a frame of stamped or pressed metal on a wood backing, or of a fabric-covered wooden or cardboard panel. It is located at the top of a window and is usually used in conjunction with curtains. Used to conceal the top portion of curtains, blinds, etc., as well as the curtain hardware. It is also used for decoration.
