Definition
A loose-fitting lounging robe that is made of lightweight fabric, which reaches from the neck to the waist or hips and may have unfitted sleeves. It has a center-front opening and usually a belt or rope for closure. Worn over the body or other clothing to protect it while combing one’s hair or applying powder or makeup.
