- Definition
- A cloth garment that extends from the shoulders or the waistline. It typically consists of an open-back skirt attached to a bib depending of the type, usually fastened at the back. It may be sleeved and have pockets at the front. Used to protect clothing from dirt or damage related to one’s occupation. It is sometimes worn for decoration.
