Definition
A tub made of glazed porcelain or of enameled, porcelain-lined, galvanized, or painted metal that has a draining hole at the bottom of one end and that is permanently connected to a water source. It may include legs and a rim, and may be encased in cabinetwork. It is found in a variety of shapes. Used as a receptacle in which to bathe.
