Definition
A small, usually round or oval, rigid container of wood, iron, glass, or earthenware with a spout for dispensing liquids, as well as a cork closure and a strap for carrying. Sometimes with a protective cloth, wicker or leather cover. Used to carry drinking water and other liquids while travelling. Also used as a receptacle from which to drink.
