- Definition
- A decorative device in the shape of a ball, made of a bundle of strips of fabric, paper, etc., in various colours, gathered into with a cylindrical handle, usually made of plastic. Used by cheerleaders in displays of swaying or shaking the pom poms, for entertainement at sporting event such as, football and basketball.
