A small, often ornamental bag or pad, usually of silk, containing a perfumed substance, such as perfumed powder, scented cotton, or flower seeds. Used to scent clothes, lingerie, handkerchiefs, linen, etc. It is hung or laid among garments or other articles in chests, wardrobes, etc.
