Definition
A small, usually circular metal case (of copper or silver) with a hinged lid. It may also have a metal chain and house a spring-loaded plate to stack coins. Some types may also have a small compartment to hold stamps. Usually worn by men and attached to a watch chain. Used to hold loose coins.
