- Definition
- An apparatus consisting of a shallow cylindrical shaped base equipped with a side hole and a frame supporting the crankshaft. The crankshaft operates an upper runner stone with a grain receiving hole in the center and curved furrows scored on the underside which sits on a stationary bedstone. Used to grind wheat grain into flour.
