Definition
A metal or wooden tool consisting of an adjustable sliding ruled beam attached with a thumbscrew to a handle in the shape of a pistol and a metal blade inserted through a slot at the end of the sliding rule beam, held in place by another thumbscrew. Used to cut even strips in leather at adjustable widths.
