- Definition
- Tools, equipment, and supplies originally created to observe, measure, or document objects and events outside of the earth's atmosphere. Objects listed in this class differ from those in Optical T&E in that they are not intended to address particular problems associated with vision. They differ from those in Surveying & Navigational T&E in that they are concerned with observation rather than with the practical uses for such observation.
